2017 Hyundai Sonata Safety and Technology in Concord

The Sonata is available in an astonishing seven different trim levels, with each upgrade providing for more technology and safety systems. Tech features in the base model include Bluetooth, a CD player and satellite radio. Moving up through the other trim levels will add a touchscreen interface, a rearview camera, the Blue Link telematics system (with smartphone integration via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay), keyless entry and ignition, a hands-free remote opening trunk and more. For safety, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert systems start off in the Limited edition, while moving up to the Limited 2.0T will add rear parking sensors, a lane departure warning system, an automatic pre-collision braking system, and automatic engine stop-start.

2017 Hyundai Sonata Performance in Concord

The Sonata comes standard with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder producing 185 horsepower while earning a very respectable 36 mpg on the highway. Available in higher trim levels, the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder cranks out 245 horsepower, while still earning 31 mpg on the highway. The Eco edition's turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder produces 178 horsepower and earns 36 mpg on the highway.
